Amanda & Adriel’s Dream Day At Moan Farm- A Vogue Worthy Wedding
There are weddings that feel like grand productions, all glitz and glamour, and then there are those rare celebrations that resonate deeply, Amanda and Adriel’s wedding at Mona Farm in the breathtaking Australian countryside belongs firmly in the latter category. As the planning and styling team behind this intimate affair, Bow Creative was honored to help bring their vision of effortless beauty and meaningful connection to life.
Let's start from the beginning…
Amanda and Adriel’s story is one rooted in time and memory, their journey together began long ago in Jakarta, with moments of reintroduction and growth that only deepened their bond over ten years. When the moment came to celebrate their union, they knew Australia was where it all had to happen, a place close to family and filled with the kind of natural beauty that mirrors the quiet luxury they wanted their wedding to embody.
We were beyond excited when the couple approached us to create their dream day. Not only did everything they expressed truly align with what Bow is about, but we also immediately understood each other. And our relationship blossomed from the very start, built on trust. Our role from then on was to take that dream and translate it into a cohesive experience, one that would feel organic, warm, and deeply luxurious without ever being ostentatious.
Mona Farm has always been one of our dream venues to work with, and we thought this would be the perfect venue for Amanda and Adriel. With its rugged stone terraces, native Australian flora, and expansive gardens, it was a venue that needed little enhancement. Instead of overwhelming its natural grace, our styling aimed to amplify the farm’s quiet grandeur while fostering a warm atmosphere for Amanda and Adriel’s wedding day.
The theme was clear from the start, the couple simply wanted every guest to feel like they had stepped into a space where elegance wasn’t forced, but rather flowed naturally from the landscape and the love in the air.
One of the defining elements of the styling was the use of moody, dark florals that created an atmospheric contrast to the wide-open surroundings. Drawing on this palette, our florist Ellebore curated lush, textural arrangements that felt wild yet deliberate, framing the ceremony and reception spaces with a sense of depth and intimacy. These rich red blooms carried seamlessly from the garden ceremony to the dance floor, where the florals transformed the space into an enchanting sanctuary.
The reception was designed to echo this understated sophistication, illuminated by candlelight in rich Bordeaux hues. The luxurious velvet drapery frames the reception entrance while white soft fabrics weaved across the rest of the marquee ceiling. This warm and textural element added another level of subtle intimacy to the evening’s mood. Every surface, every detail was selected to invite guests into an experience that felt both sophisticated and approachable, an intimate dinner where conversations could linger.
Working closely with Amanda, we understood the importance of marrying the venue’s authentic essence with a styling that honoured her Indonesian heritage and personal taste. The bespoke menus and stationery, crafted by Peggy and Polly, reflected this delicate balance, minimalist in design yet rich with meaningful touches. Each detail was thoughtfully integrated, contributing to the narrative without overpowering the organic beauty surrounding them.
Of course, no wedding day is without its surprises. On the morning of the ceremony, we faced a last-minute shift in plans due to strong winds threatening the original spot. But rather than derail the day, this change added a layer of magic that seemed almost destined. It was a reminder that sometimes the most memorable moments arise from embracing the unexpected, and our team moved swiftly and thoughtfully to create a new setting that felt just right.
The emotional core of the day was palpable, from Amanda’s walk down the aisle with her father accompanied by Tobi Tobi’s live performance, to the tender vow exchange where the sun broke gently through the clouds. These moments were not staged; they were lived and breathed by everyone present, made all the more vivid by the intentional atmosphere we curated around them.
A celebration like this was only possible thanks to our trusted team of preferred vendors. From the wonderfully talented photographer Mervé Togan, the most considerate Content Creator Molly from MTL Socials, to one of the best videographers out there Luca Zarik, (full team credit below) we all worked seamlessly behind the scenes to ensure the day flowed effortlessly. This collective orchestration allowed Amanda and Adriel to fully inhabit their celebration, surrounded by loved ones and the kind of space that invited genuine connection.
For couples dreaming of a day like this, Amanda and Adriel’s wedding offers a blueprint for what can be achieved when planning is approached with heart, artistry, and a deep understanding of the couple’s unique style. It’s a celebration that proves grandeur doesn’t require excess, that intimacy and elegance can coexist effortlessly, and truly is a Vogue worthy wedding.
